IMPORTANT CHANGE:

Here it is. Your pre race email you’ve been waiting for!

We are just four days away from the big race day and I’m here to tell you we are ready to rock and are super excited to be able to put on the Little Backyard Adventure race again and welcome you all back to LBA park.

Here are all the important details you need to know:

PACKAGE PICKUP

On July 30th, from 5pm to 7pm, bibs & swag bags can be picked up at the Eastside Big Tom located at: 2023 4th Ave E, Olympia. We’ll be in the big gravel lot next door – you can’t miss us. Come by, say hello and grab a burger and shake along the way.

If you missed the pre race packet pickup on the 10th, don’t worry! Race packets can be picked up on race day starting at 6:30am at LBA Park. The packet pickup area will be located near the starting line and the race headquarters at the picnic shelter.

PARKING & LOGISTICS

Please park at the main parking lot, located at 3333 Morse-Merryman Road SE, Olympia, WA. The parking area is a very short walk to the race headquarters.

A restroom is available for the day of the race. We ask that you do your best to keep it clean and to throw all trash in the garbage cans. Please help to keep them as clean as you can, as we are guests in the city park and hope to return year after year.

Bins for recycling & food waste will be available as well. Volunteers on race day can point you in the direction to the proper receptacles.

COURSE INFORMATION & TIMING

• The course will be well-marked with directional arrows and flags. Will announce details in the pre-race briefing.
• IMPORTANT CHANGE: All three races will start at 8am.
• Race Results will be listed on UltraSignUp as quickly as possible after race day.

COVID PRECAUTIONS

We’re not done with this!
While we will be outside we still want everyone to be safe and therefore asking for the following:

• If you have any symptoms or have recently tested positive, please stay home and keep everyone else safe!
• For race pickup, the starting line area and the aid station (the congested areas) please have a face mask with you and use it.
• Try to maintain 6 feet of separation and be extra courteous on the course when passing others.
